Strap yourselves
in folks cause you never know what's coming at you when these fella's hit the stage. You could get a full on hard hittin' country butt kickin'
with fiddle's sawing, guitars blazing, and drums kickin'
or you could just get 3 old friends with guitars doing their thing and
singing some old favorites on center stage. Either way it's a pretty safe bet
that you won't be disappointed. You may also see Contact Information: Duane at sawmillroadmusic@yahoo.ca 905-355-5894 |

BAND
MEMBERS: Brain Cosbey, John Foreman, Ivan Dafoe |
|
Brian Cosbey
is a country gentleman who has been playing and singing for the past 28
years. He was born and raised in the Madoc/Stirling
area and still calls this home. Brian has such a love for country
and bluegrass music that he has become proficient at playing not only the
guitar but also the dobro & fiddle. He
also loves to restore old violins to bring them back to look and sound as
wonderful as they once did. Sometimes he plays locally with a group
called New Frontier, and has also played with a group from Oshawa area from Embassader
Records, where he was able to record a couple of CD's. He hopes that
people enjoy listening to them as much as he did recording them. Brian
has a great joy in meeting new people and is looking forward to meeting any
and all who wish to come along and chat for awhile. John Foreman is well known in the
Bancroft area. Always looking for an excuse to play music. Don't
have much fun but make alot of money. Music has always been a passion
for Ivan Dafoe but has always been open minded as to styles. In more
recent years he has been playing in the Jamborees throughout the summer which
has brought a whole new crowd of friends. He has soon realized that
people of music are as diversified as music itself. |

with Garry McKnight on rhythm guitar and Larry Burnett on lead guitar.
Derrick King (bass Guitar) was added to the band in late fall of 2004 and
Jody Anderson (drums) was added in spring of 2005. They played as a four
piece band for six months then Ron Finner sat in on
keyboard one afternoon and has been with them ever since. "New
Singer" Steve Miller joined the Black Fly Band in 2007. They do a mix of
songs based on the type of crowd they are playing for and can play venues of
classic country, new country, rock and roll with
some classic rock. In 2007 they had 60 plus bookings around the area playing
everything from bars, large outdoor concerts, fairs and weddings. Their first
